My Daily Devotional

A Prayer For Israel

“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”
1st Peter 4:18

Each day, our great nation is straying further from God, as Satan is spreading his evil throughout our land. We are legally killing over 4,000 innocent babies each day, making a mockery of the institution of marriage, embracing every kind of sexual perversion and permissive behavior, and literally living in rebellion to the Word of God. It is not going to be long until we see the wrath and judgment of God unleashed on our once great land. Even though this is bad enough, we are beginning to turn against Israel and stand with their enemies. The Bible tells us that Jerusalem belongs to Israel, and that if they want to build settlements in Jerusalem, they can. The enemies of Israel have no claim to this land. I believe if we ever wanted to experience the wrath of God, we are doing everything we possibly can to see that happen. God gave, and promised every inch of that land to the Jewish people, and no person or no nation has the right to give away what God promised and gave to them. Out of the billions of square miles that exist on this earth, this is the only place on the planet God literally promised and gave to His children. I believe the message that God gave Abraham in Genesis 12:3 sums up what God’s thoughts are on this subject. “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” This one verse of Scripture is what is happening in Israel right now, and is so critical to this nation. Pray for Israel today for their protection, and that our nation will come to its senses.
