Do You Have The Faith

“According to your faith will it be done to you.”
Matthew 9:29

We see many instances in the New Testament where people were healed of their infirmities, because they had enough faith that Jesus healed them. The centurion’s servant was healed because he had enough faith, the paralytic man was healed because of his faith, the two blind men were healed because they believed and had faith. There are many other examples such as these where people had enough faith in Jesus that He healed them. The Bible is filled with examples where great things happened when people had enough faith in Christ. Jesus even tells us that we could move mountains, if we only had enough faith as a tiny mustard seed. However, it is difficult for people to even have this small amount of faith, as we do not see many mountains being moved today. Even His own disciples did not have enough faith to calm the winds of the storm when they were on the boat and Jesus had to intervene and calm the winds. In James 2:14 Jesus gives us His wisdom on our faith as He states “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds.” He goes on further to give us the example that Abraham offered his son Isaac on the alter as an example where his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he was willing to do. When we have the faith and trust in God to make the sacrifices as Abraham was willing to do, we will then be able to make our mountains move, we can then be in a position to ask God for our healings and for our miracles. This faith can happen when we believe and trust in God with all our hearts, and when we put God in control of everything.
