My Daily Devotional

Your Day Of Salvation

“Your eyes will see the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar.”
Isaiah 33:17

This morning as I sit here and look out my window, and see the daylight breaking through the night, I am thinking about what it would be like to see God when the darkness subsides and the daylight appears. Wouldn’t it be great to have the King appear in all His majesty and glory, come down from the heavens, and appear in front of me. Would I be ready to see and face God? One day this very thing will happen. Our King will one day appear, and I will stand in front of Him, and give an account of my life. Each of us must be prepared for this day, and be ready to stand before our King, and be judged. Are you ready this morning to meet Jesus, and give an account for your life? Getting prepared for this meeting, should be the most important thing in your life today, as tomorrow is not promised to any of us. I would encourage you to search your hearts, as you read this devotional, to make sure you are prepared. Getting prepared is such an easy thing. The easiest thing you will ever do. All it requires is that you ask Jesus to come into your heart. Confess that you are a sinner, and that you want Jesus to forgive you of all your sins. Make a commitment to follow and obey God’s commands, and that you will live your life for Him. There are no sins you have committed that God will not forgive. You can start a new life right now, this morning. A new life that will prepare you to meet Jesus, and as you stand before Him, you will be confident that He will welcome you with open arms. Please ask Jesus to be your Savior right now. Today is your day of Salvation.
