Your Dreams Can Come True

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”
Proverbs 16:3

Do you have a dream—something that you can see yourself doing in your life. Something that you think and dream about when you are alone with your thoughts. Whatever dream God has given you and put on your heart, don’t let it die. Our dreams can be wonderful things. They can give us hope for the future, and can be our encouragement when we become discouraged with our lives. If we are having problems in our lives our dreams can become our beacon of light and something we search for to get us out of life’s stormy seas. It is very important to take the right steps to fulfilling our dreams, and this is where we must depend and trust in God to let us succeed. If our dreams are aligned with God’s will for our life there is nothing that will prevent us from reaching our dreams. There will be obstacles along our way, which I refer to as “dream killers” that will want to snuff the life out of our dreams, but be strong and don’t let them do it. There are people that we will encounter that will want to kill our dreams. There will be fear, intimidation, lack of finances, doubt, indecision, jealously and many other dream killers just waiting to spoil our dreams. You need to be strong and firm and raise up against these dream killers and tell them that they are not going to take away your dreams. I have always thought about the coach at North Carolina State who led his basketball team to the world championship and later died of cancer who said we must never give up. This is so true as we must never give up in the quest to reach our dreams. When you dream, dream big and never give up. There is no law that says that you have to dream small, as your dream is yours and only yours. Never let anyone tell you that your dream can’t come true, it can. Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” We must raise our expectations and dream our dreams before we will start receiving and realizing that our dreams can come true. We must start to expect the favor of God in our lives. We must expect his blessings. If we do our part by setting our goals and objectives and dedicating the commitment to achieving these goals, and having the faith and expectancy that these goals will come true, God will take us to heights that we have never seen before. Our dreams can become realities and God will be there to help lead and direct us throughout our journey if we will trust and have faith in Him.

Robert William Brock, Jr. I was born in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Robert William Brock and Irene Napier, I grew up in the beautiful southeastern part of Kentucky. I attended Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky graduating with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
